Creatine Might be good for Distance Runners 7/12/2010 5:16PM Reply | Return to Index | Report Post
This new study uses a low dose of creatine instead of a heavy dose loading period in the beginning, and it appears to help with muscular fatigue without putting on weight.

Don't know if this type of muscular fatigue would directly correlate to running though, anyone have any thoughts?

I hate stuff like this. I don't like people having significant advantages from unnatural supplements. Why can't we keep the playing field level without forcing everyone to experiment with their bodies?

I have only two problems with this. Where do you draw the line and what is "unnatural"? Is acupuncture unnatural? What about taking multivitamins (definitely not natural the way they are produced)? Sitting in baths of ice isn't natural. Creatine occurs naturally but so does EPO, testosterone, etc. So if the governing body of a sport deems a substance legal, use it. The "playing field" is level. Everyone is allowed to use it.

With that being said, I hate it too. I don't, haven't, and wouldn't use creatine.

I know, and that's why it frustrates me so much. I'm not very keen to risk my health and experiment with new drugs for possible advantages.

"hey guys...ya..last year i took andro nitrate fuel, by twin lab...I was taking low doses, and the results were amazing...i was really careful with it, i did all the research and everything...I seem to have grown more, like a "growth spert", after my pct...It was low doses of ph's but i could train harder, and my 5k dropped from a 17somthing to a 16 somthing in one week!!! But i knew the dangers and didnt stay on longer than 2 weeks....OH...the creatine thing...i cant take it, that crap gives me headaches. its weird, i drink plenty of water wiht it, but iv tried many different kinds and brands...It sucks... Im going to try it one more time. But what about Adenergy...my friend just gave me some of that, and i heard it sucks, but was just wanting to know what ya'll thought...I'm new to this site, but please... just give me some kind of idea of what would be good?..as in ph's as well....
