13:21 is not a bad time for Cragg for his first proper race of the season
Solid. Good job Galen.
I think in more ideal conditions with faster pace Rupp is capable of 13 flat, right now.
Let's take a little perspective, last year in early July if Rupp ran 1310 everyone would be going wild. Not that 4(3) American's have broken 13 it's different. Totally different, at least in our minds. THIS, is still a really good run for him. Great stuff.

Based on his 27:10 and his recent 3:57, he's probably closer to 13:05 at best right now.
joseph ebuya, not as great on the track as he is off of it?
So give it a little time. Traveling and adjusting to the time change is not automatic. I am sure he pops off some good races this summer.

Um...of course a faster pace would put him at 13:00...a genius statement!
Agree - times could have been 10 seconds faster for the whole field in ideal conditions
we're not allowed to talk about people that didn't get first or second
i believe u mean 5(4) americans have broken 13. how quick everyone is to forget about bob kennedy
While I think this is a good performance by Rupp, I can't help that the LR posters are giving it a much better review than Solinsky's nearly 2 second faster time at Pre.

This is a PR for Rupp, Solinsky ran several seconds off his PR. Sorry we are able to contextualize performances based on something other than temperature.
Please no more conjecturing - What Galen could have run in ideal conditions blah blah blah - he ran 13:10 - a bit disappointing
Wow. I'm really impressed with the family values, work ethic, and culture of the Africans who still completely dominate distances.
I am so bored by this result.
