What is "The Blues Brothers"?
Only movie released in 1980 I can think of.
I hate Illinois Nazis.
My internet search yields a release date for the Blues Brothers of 6-20-80 .... could Malmo actually be WRONG?
Bluesday, Bloomsday, close enough.
I need a graph to sort it out. Anybody know anything about Excel?

Belushi met Eugene blues musicians Curtis Salgado and Robert Cray at Taylors Bar during the filming of Animal House. Salgado is credited by Belushi as being the inspiration for the Blue Brothers -- the songs, the swagger and the sunglasses. He is also credited for introducing Belushi to heroin -- a habit that would eventually kill Belushi.

Amen.
Grew up in suburban Chicago...the mall scene where Jake and Elwood race their car through was a mini mall in Harvey, Illinois. It was already closed in 1980, but the movie studio resurrected it for the movie. Rumor has it that the studio never honored their contract and never paid the city for the space. It was on the news last night and the roof has collapsed in and it looks like a slight breeze would knock it over. It was called the Dixie Square Mall. Kind of sad in a way........first Beluschi, now Dixie Square!

Thou hath not so much brain as ear wax.
-We got two honkies out there dressed like Hasidic diamond merchants.
--Say what?
-They look like they're from the CIA, or somethin'.
--What they want to eat?
-The tall one wants white bread, toasted, dry, with nothin' on it.
--Elwood.
-And the other one wants four whole fried chickens and a Coke.
--And Jake. Shit, the Blues Brothers!
