I have found a couple of things that suggest he's coaching in Alabama somewhere.
I used to watch him running workouts at the UF track back in the late 90s when I started grad school. He was running some 400m repeats once and I thought, "oh he's just cruising these kinda slow." Then I timed him and he was hitting 60.x every single one of them.
I think back in the late 90s he was managing a Smoothie King across the street from the university. Not sure if this was after he retired from competition or just a way to pay the bills while he trained there.
he coached for a minute at birmingham southern a couple years ago.
