thank you kind sir i was hoping someone would put this up
The write-up linked from the front page really made this race sound a lot more tactical and as though more shuffling had taken place. I'm a little underwhelmed. For such a fast race, there was little drama. I guess we'll take what we can get.
48.97 for the first lap?
After watching that video, I firmly believe Rudisha is dirty. He doesn't look smooth at all. Compare that to Kipketer and Coe, who had effortlessly beautiful form. It also explains why he can't make a world championship final (when they test more aggressively).
Any chance of a YouTube of the 5000m from tonight?
So your correlate the form of a runner to whether they are dirty or not? hmmmm I just see a freak of nature but if there is another variable that leads you to think he is dirty then please explain.
24-25-26-27
..perfect....wow

Kipketer was the best of the best BY A MILE during the heyday of EPO and HGH--before there was test for either--and he's CLEAN???
hahaha, classic comment there regarding Maurie Plant! So true though!

he's clearly struggling the last 150 or so, he just doesn't tie up like some people do. I don't know why you'd think he's using.

I don't think that you've ever dealt with WADA, right? Rudisha is subject to testing at any time, whether he's in Iten, Tubingen or London. Whenever he wins a race! You can be sure that he's obligated to give another sample. WADA doesn't care who you are.
His coach and manager have nothing but detestment for drug cheats, something that you would know if you got to know either of them. You should consider the possibility that Rudisha is just more talented than Kipketer.
Rudisha is Kiswahili for return (something), give it back. It means 'return it'.
That would be taken to mean 'return the WR to Kenya'.

1) Yeah I am sure all managers "detest" drug cheats - ones they don't represent. What they don't detest is all the money they make from the ones they do. Do you think Jos Hermanns is losing sleep from all the money he made Gabriella Szabo. Do you think Trevor Graham gave all the money he made from Marion Jones to Save the Children?
anyway that's not what I want to talk about because I think Rudisha is fine - just don't be so naive when it comes to athletics managers - they care about one thing and one thing only - themselves. The sooner they get rid of those chumps from the sport the better off athletes, fans and the world of athletics will be.
2) I will consider the possibility that Rudisha is more talented than Kipketer when he wins three world titles, two Olympic medals and breaks Wilsons world record. Because as far as I know, Rudisha hasn't made a world final yet. I think he is one of the most talented guys the 800m has seen - but to compare him yet to a guy whose AVERAGE of his ten best times is even faster than Rudishas PR is in a word - ridiculous.
I firmly believe that you are an idiot. Rudisha has a beautiful stride. But even Rudisha struggles in the end of 1.42,0 800m race.

Everyone struggles at the end of a race this fast
Coe said of his 1:41, "...the track started to turn uphill in the last 50m, but I made it to the finish line, thankfully"

You're an idiot. Incredible race and drama! Rudisha going for it; Kaki hanging tough and having a real go at him in the final straight. One of the great 800s.
Part of this 5K appears here:
