(I like predictions.)
I say not a world record, but close, in 30.75sec.

29.9
Yo dawg, i heard you like predictions so i posted in this thread about predictions while you wrote a script so i could read the pre diction while predicting.
30 isn't far fetched
19.5 with a 10.5 at the end. Seems reasonable for Big Bolt.(I like called people by their name preceded by "Big")

I think 19.5 would put him in a real hurt locker after 250m...bonk territory. He must be careful with the pace at 300m....I say nothing sub20.25 for the first 200m or else.
hmmm i'll say 29.97

Isn't the WR 30.85 or is this list outdated?
http://www.alltime-athletics.com/m_300ok.htmAlso, what does A mean in that list? Wind aided? How can a 300m be wind aided?
Crushes WR.
oh I get it! This is one of those threads where, because someone attempts a race, all the predictions become absurdly low. Kind of like German running 13:03 and what not.
Bolt is out of condition and isn't sharp. He could run100 at 9.9. Hit 200 at 19.5 or19.4, but then he's baked. The final 100 would be more like 11.2 or so which would get a 30.7. However, due to psychological reasons, I don't think he attacks the first 200 that hard. I would expect more like hitting 200 in 20.2 and a final hundred in 10.8 or more. Unless he's been putting in 400s in training, I don't think he breaks 31.
My guess: 31.36

Um, are you and i reading the same thread?
'A' means the race was at altitude. I think anywhere above 600m gets classified like this.

Did you happen to notice earlier this year when Bolt split a 43.5 in a 4x400? Granted, it was a relay split, but he's in shape. I say he can break the 300m WR.
'Also, what does A mean in that list? '
Altitude
You heard it here first! I predict he runs 19.8 flat for first 200m, closes in 10.2, for a 30sec flat WR, and then runs another 100meters in celebration in 13.17 to also break the 400M WR!
i say he sits and kicks... 21.2 for the first 200, 8.71 for the home stretch for sub 30
I predict Bolt will get the 5,000, 10,000 and marathon Canadian national records in 2010.
Prediction = 30.70
Chance of sub 30 = very low
bump

I thought the record was 30.68. It is 30.85.
So, I predict 30.75 for Bolt tomorrow.....A world record!!!
Go Bolt.
