Long enough, and guilty here |

I ran a half marathon on Sunday and am not even considering running again until Wednesday. Not guilty at all and eating all of the wrong food. Time for a break. |

Unless I have just ran a marathon, more than one day of rest will make me feel guilty! |

Unless a break is needed, I feel guilty after one day off. Certainly more than 2 days off would make me feel very guilty and I would not take 3. |

I have never run. I'm a man in my 50s who lives to discuss politics on running websites. Sad, but true. |

Usually 2 days in my 20's. 3 Day's in my 30's and 40's. I was all caught up in "100 mpw". Now in my 50's, I can miss 3, 4 or even 5 days without much guilt. I go to the gym , spin, lift, alot of core work. Same thing at this age. |

Post-season, up to two weeks if I can still do other forms of exercise. Otherwise, zero. |

I'm a 44 yr old slow guy who took up running 3 yrs ago yet I feel guilty after only 2 or 3 days. I also ran a 1/2 Sunday and if I don't run tomorrow I'll feel guilty. |

i used to feel guilty after 2 days. now, if there is anything nagging, i crosstrain for a few days. i actually feel guilty *for* running since i know that it's just going to prolong the issue. |

In college, I used to get every Tuesday off during track season because I deliberately scheduled a required class during practice on that day. Tuesday's were our "recovery" days and my teammates always ran them too fast. As a freshman, I couldn't handle high mileage and intensity, so I simply didn't run Tuesday. Didn't feel guilty about it. I needed it. As I got older, I started running on my own on Tuesdays, but just not as fast as my dumb teammates. Hahahaha. |
