wind aided 2.7
Its only prelims and Eaton goes 10.19, there has never been a decathlete with this kind of speed. To think he almost went to D2 Western Oregon is Scary

That guy is the best athlete anywhere in college sports at the moment.
freak.
wind-aided is wind-aided
Nobody's saying 2.7 isn't wind aided, but 10.19 for a decathlete with a wind not too far over the limit is sick.
Eaton just won the long jump too, only by 1cm.

The reality of it, is that it's an AMAZING run for him. The reality of it, is that you're a f'ing moron.
As another poster said, no one is saying it's not wind aided. We're impressed by the feat. Wind aided doesn't make the feat happen. This would be a huge pr, with or without the extra wind. If it was a 2.0, he'd probably have gone 10.26 or something.
Again, you are a complete moron.
isn't a higher wind rating allowable for deca?

it's not superior to his current PR of 10.35 so forgive me for not being AMAZED

What was the wind during his 10.35 PR, oh unamazed one?

Nevermind, I did your homework for you. His PR was a WIND-AIDED 10.34. His legal PR is 10.49.
So yes, this 10.19 is extremely good, and clearly superior to his previous performances.

What an idiot. As others mentioned his legal pr is 10.49, so it's far superior. His 10.49 had a 1.7w, so this is an ~good .2 better. His 10.35 had a 4.1w, and his 10.34 had a 3.4w, so nice try moron. You're probably sitting there angry wanting to say something smart, but you can't because you've been called out as an ignorant f'tard and are just a moron.

The reality of it is you're not real. A troll if you will. A 0.1/10 if you must.
so the purpose of this message board is to hurl insults at anonymous posters? Chill.
Hum, calling someone out as a troll is an insult? Someone who obviously is trying to get negative comments posted and succeeded? You might be wound up a bit too tight.

Took you this long to figure it out? That is the only thing that explains what goes on around here. If this board were actually for talking about running, we'd be faced with the grim truth that ninety-five percent of the people walking this earth are too stupid to be alive, let alone post on message boards without adult supervision.
and that won't change. if this forum was about running it would cease to exist. advertising revenues would be down so far Letsrun would die.
