He must be overjoyed thinking about all the good he'll be able to do for society when he pays his taxes.
he's only missing two teeth, not exactly toothless
I wonder how quick this guy can lose it all. I am saying 10 years max.

notice the tooth next to the missing two? meth head.
he may take the 50 year payout. or if he takes the upfront lump sum which is usually about half the total i give him 6 years tops to lose/blow/smoke it all away. or he will die of some kind of an overdose a year from now and the family will fight over who gets what since he will invariably not have a will.
Aren't 90% of americans rednecks? the other 10% Canadians

Unfortunately that just might be true if he takes it in one lump sum. Hard to imagine how that happens to some lottery winners, but it could happen to him if he's not careful.
Maybe someone like him should take it in installments. His $258 million over 30 years would be $8.6 million annually. If he'd invest just 1% of that every year or even less, he'd never want for anything.
Didn't any of you see the 60 minute episode about a year ago regarding past winners of the Powerball and lotteries?
The stunning statistic was that over 70% of the winners were broke by the time they aired the story. Several of the winners were from over 20 years ago, but...Many of them went broke within 6 years.
Experts who were interviewed could not agree on many things, but agreed on one; " if you have someone who is A) uneducated and B) has never had any money their whole life.
And then give them an obscene amount of money, why would you be surprised if they lose it?
most of the winners had relatives demand things. Others ended up in ugly divorces. The best part was when you got to see the few who were smart enough to keep a low profile, not go wild in their spending, and are still happy.
My favorite was a blcak guy who was broke after winning 20 million. He lived in Pennsylvania. Never swam, went in the water, etc. Yet, when he won, he bought a big boat.
During his interview he sat in front of a gigantic painting of himself. So, he won, and spent the money on things he would never need, use or eventually want. Hmmm, wonder how he ended up broke?
The other was two rednecks from Florida. Husband and wife in a trailer park. They bought matching custom corvettes, painted purple. They never said how much they won, just that they were broke within 5 years after winning.
Ben Franklin said it best " a fool and his money are soon parted"
The American Dream.
Lump sum or installment plan really doesn't matter. If you have the installment plan you can take out loans against that income. He will do that when he is short money some month and then the snowball begins.

I had bills at home I didn't know how they were going to be paid."
And spending money on the lottery.
Shocking, he has 3 kids by 2 different women, neither of whom he is dating.
'He also plans to seek advice "from people who know about money"'
Whenever I feel bad about coming from a good home, I will just remind myself how f---ing much poor people shoot themselves in the foot, for no other reason than that many are stupid, literally just morons.
Silly fools, no one actually wins the lottery. It's just advertising to sucker more fools into the game.

That's probably true. It's a shame. I know the stats are crazy high that winners become broke amazingly soon after winning. I'd sure like to give it a try so that I could skew the stats in the opposite way...won't happen though since I don't play the lottery.
i wouldnt care if i went broke after winning the lotto as long as i had it at one point
He may be toothless and redneck but he can now buy and sell your ass!
many of you are very ignorant and lack understanding and critical thinking skills
these people are not necessarily stupid or morons because they spend their money on lottery tickets with outstanding bills or because they lose all of their winnings in just a few years time
some of these people are just ignorant(not a negative thing, we're all ignorant of something), some people just dont care about money after a either never having it or simply being tired of money governing their life, and some people dont mind being reverting back to their prelottery lives since thats what they've been living with for their whole life. And there are a ton more possible explanations besides them being stupid or morons. But yes, it is possible that some of them are stupid and moronic.
money isnt everything!
and katy lied, a lottery ticket only costs $1 or $2. If you had any smarts, you'd regularly allocate some money towards lottery tickets and scratch off tickets. Your chances arent so bad. Like everything in life, you've got a 50/50 chance. You win or you dont win. It is or it isnt.
I can't decide- Best Troll ever- biggest idiot on letsrun?I do like the fact that my odds of scoring with Scarlett Johansen is 50/50 though. Add in my 50/50s with all the VS models and I am really looking forward to the rest of the year.
