Well, I want to know?
Is it that common to miss your HS Prom?

Never went.
I didn't go to my prom. Nor graduation.
I kind of hated HS and was happy to be done with that place as soo as possible.
Went. It wasn't worth the time, neither was my date.
Hated my HS classmates, loved my girlfriend (now my wife of 20 years). Never went to the prom.
Nope

I would have gone but I had states that night and the next day. Not worth it to show up late and leave early.
Didn't go.
Had a girlfriend that went the previous year with someone else so she did get the prom experience.
I didn't feel the need for the experience and had a track meet the next day.
Went with a girl from another school to her prom, didn't got to mine (they were on different weekends, mine conflicted with a meet, hers didn't). We ended up having a good time, and despite both being juniors, snuck into the senior ball for my school as well.
What a surprise! None of you losers went to the prom.
I went five times. I was asked by an older woman my sophomore year, and then went with my girlfriend (rival High School) both Junior and Senior years at each of our respective High Schools.
Had a great time each prom. Go, it is worth it.
Ask a girl who might not have a date. Believe me, SHE wants to go and you would make her year. It is just prom, it doesn't mean you have to sleep with her.
Looking back on high school, i wish i would have been nicer to some people.
Seriously, ask a girl who would otherwise not get to go and show her a good time. You will get a gold star. Do it.
Our prom never coincided with a track meet. In fact, I feel like it was earlier than most schools. Or maybe later. I never remember worrying about meets. I think we had a late prom, after States.
I always think of the vignette in "New York, I Love You" when the boy takes the wheelchair-bound girl to prom. I don't want to ruin the story, but he is handsomely rewarded/surprised, in more ways than one.
I agree with the douche above me. Take a girl to prom that no one else will ask, treat her like a princess. Be sincere.
Never went. Never really considered going. Never regretted not going.
I never went to any HS dances.
I did not go junior year, but I did go as a senior.
Didn't go to mine, or graduation. High school sucked. I thank God every day I am out of that place for good.
I loved High School.
I went to a boarding school. Our prom consisted of taking a yellow school bus to a hotel/convention center thing, then taking it back to campus that night. Why would I pay money to do that?
I went, fu*ked some other girl in the parking lot. My date gave me a BJ later that night in the back of the limo.

I laughed, what a great way to say you agree with someone.
Went junior year, you have to spend way too f***ing much money. Wasn't even that fun and I went with someone who I definitly liked. Maybe I'm bitter because nothing happened after, I don't know.
That prom f***ed it up with another girl who I found out much later really liked me, I didn't know that at the time because if I did I would have gotten with her. But I guess at a meet she overheard me saying to friends that for how much money I'm spending on the damn prom I better get something out of it. Haha, sad.

Alright, Google is failing me... how is the boy rewarded/surprised?
