When will we get to see these athletes in competition? Can't wait to see how fit and fast they really are!
In a lot of the clips, it looks like Rowbury is even with or in front of most of the guys. Odd, since most of them are about 25-30 seconds faster than her over 1500.
Probably recovery days...doesn't look like they're exactly blasting those runs.
Sweet vid though.

Why do they train in that God-forsaken sh*thole of a country anyway?
And let's not even talk about the "Bay Area Track Club"
I guess it is cheaper to go there and stay there for a month instead of staying in Colorado or Arizona.
Plus it is more of a workman's type of experience.
Character building or something.
Only the self-promoting Bay Area Track Club would post a link from their website about practice. Practice!
And if a Bay Area Track Club official did NOT post this with hopes to self-promote, let me ask you this: who else is looking at their website and thinking, "Cool! Look everyone, they are practicing!"
Desperate for attention, indeed.
It's also higher.
Never realized what a nice butt Rowbury has.
Speaking of Mexico, my wife is a high school Spanish teacher and we both love visitng Mexico! Love the culture, beer, food and beaches. Does anyone know of any good training areas in Mexico? Where is Team Cook training? Obviously some altitude would probably be nice.
what are we talking about? practice?...PRACTICE???
are you serious??? wrote:

Out of just pure curiosity...are all the men on this team of Mexican descent?

I would prefer somewhere other than the murder capitol of the world!
Ok, Liza Hunter-Galvan likes Nuevo Laredo.

That is all well and good but its looking good and running fast in races in June, July and August that mean something and pay the bills.
They are big fish in a small pond now, but they are getting ready to jump into a damn big lake, lets see how they swim then.
Manzano and Rowbury have already proven that they are big fish in the damn big lake. The others, well, it will be exciting to see if they can make that big jump too.
And I trust that the training these athletes are doing right now is preparing them for June, July and August! Cook knows what he's doing and Always seems to have his athletes ready for the big meets during outdoor track.
Manzano and Hernandez are both Mexican. It makes sense that they would train in their home country.
Ok, this is getting ridiculous.
Who else should be promoting the Bay Area Track Club, other than themselves? They are NOT sponsored by any one shoe company, so they don't have the luxury of getting any kind of marketing help from a big-time sponsor.
Also..."Bay Area Track Club Official"? Do you think they can afford some random person to post links? If you check out their website, you'll see that the group is run by the athletes and a couple coaches.
This video was probably put together by Torrence/Rowbury (although my guess is Torrence, since he usually puts up a lot of videos), and they just uploaded it to their site, or sent it back to the bay for somebody to upload it.
Lastly, the comments about practice...why is Workout Wednesday one of the most popular segments on Flotrack? It's because it is fun and interesting to watch our elite athletes work out and see what they're doing for a day, and it's easy to relate to them since WE all workout as well (although nowhere near as fast).
Go Team Cook and Go BATC!
Why all the haters? Did your mommies and daddies not give you enough love and respect in your lifetime? Maybe that's why you are so bitter about anything and everything. I'm sorry for your misery!
Despite all of the negative dip-poops on this website, I really enjoyed the video. Great job whoever created it! Team Cook looks like they are working hard and having fun doing it! Good for them!!!!!
