any results for shelley?
any results for shelley?
I guess they're not showing the women's finish. Amazing race for the men. Over and out.
Watched the Dutch coverage on the internet and saw him in the background when the were interviewing the dudtch runner. Don't think he broke 2:13
Will post Shelley's time when I hear it
-Lellisa was paid by Haile to scuttle the WR challenge by the kenyans.Looks like he did a good job.
- Patrick Makau dips under2.05 before Wanjiru-Wanjiru will not like this at all.
-Geofrey Mutai has lots of potential for the future.
-The WR could have gone if Lellisa had not scuttled it
From Rotterdam, basic thoughts and some times. From 20km to 30km, in about 30:18. Very slow, even though the pacemakers were presumably there.
That's interesting - it's not like it slowed down after the PM dropped out

what did the 2009 City to Surf winner run?
Lelisa had the fastest 4th place finish ever, breaking Makau's time of 2:06:14 from last year's Rotterdam.
What did the 2009 City to Surf winner, Michael Shelley, run? What was the name of of the runner wearing a mankini with big balls (bigger than Shelley's)swaying to the left and the right who ran 2.16- great effort!
Don't know what the East Africans are eating. Looks like we aint seen nothing yet in marathon running. All the four guys ran PBs with Mutai and Lellisa really pulling a good one. Great run for Makau. At least maybe he can now start being consistent in the marathon like he does in the half. London promises to be unpredictable. Maybe it will be won this time in 2:06 high or 2:07. I am sure Wanjiru will push the pace like crazy. I see the first half covered in around 61:30 or even faster.
Women's results? magda?
Shelley was 2:13ish, i think.
Carney was 2:15ish
Magdalena ran 2:26:20 for 2nd. f-yeah.
Zolia was around 2:33
magdalena!!!!!
awesome. thanks richie.
magda boulet?? damn, that's great!!! holy crap 226 is rolling! great job magda!
Terrific for Magda. That makes her #5 all-time U.S. now.
Looks like kwambai ist a one hit wonder just like Kibet. Related to drugs?
That makes him less of a candidate for drug use. It's the guys that never have bad days that are suspicious.
Before you write-off Kibet why not wait and see how he does in London.I know for sure that he is in awesome shape going into London having seen him train recently with Benjamin Kiptoo who was 3rd in Paris today.Dont judge him on the Berlin performance, basically he lost focus a little bit after rotterdam last year.He spent more time relaxing and doing business than on running. This year he has been very focussed .I think he will do well in London.
If Lelisa is actually 20 and ran 2:05:22, has anybody that age or younger ever run faster?
i think bazu worku ran around that time last year and he was 18
