School doesn't like how Nike is handling things down in Honduras. A proud day for Badger fans everywhere!

Is adidas any better? Freakin' retards.
I thought they'd been with Adidas for years now.
When will Oregon follow suit?
Wisconsin's policy is the most asinine ilberal do-gooder thing ever. No wonder why that school sucks at nearly everything now days.
Yeah, no doubt that $50K will be what breaks that athletic department and university.
Idiot.

They are. this is just about nike making wisconsin clothing to sell to the public.
Ditto Whiskey, is this a legit story?
Stupidest move EVER! I would like to know how many vendors and contractors the State of Wisconsin is late in paying along with not meeting their obligations on pension contributions. Two-faced elitists posing as if they give a damn about people yet they will F#@& those in their own backyard. Nike should retaliate and say that if Wisconsin does this that Nike will hire 10 year olds in Mexico to work for .30 cents/hour and mandate 70 hour work weeks!
Appropriate name, at least.

Nike might very well be evil incarnate, but a campus where Chairman Mao and Che Guevera t-shirts are de rigueur isn't in a position to judge.

YOU LIE!
they should sign with asics or kappa or le coq sportif
Really, those people who think Nike are so bad better stop buying just about anything not made in the USA.

You're not being serious, are you? I'm in my third year at UW. I see a Che Guevera t-shirt only rarely, and I've never seen or even heard of people wearing Chairman Mao t-shirts...
Madison's a liberal town, for sure, but let's not get carried away with the stereotypes...
I went to UW and it's loaded with granola-eating weirdos.

This is very true. Nike is no saint, but their Chinese sub-contractors are no worse than any other shoe made in China, which is damn near all of them. Because of the bad pub, in fact, Nike likely does a better job of avoiding the worst labor abuses.

So you're being a gratuitous fabulist, aren't you?
Unless they sign with Sub 4 USA, New Balance, or American Apparel, they'll get the same thing from every other company.
