How long did it take for everyone to realise that today's homepage isn't actually real?
Me? About the half-way point in the Russian doping article...

You must be new to letsrun. I love coming on here for their April Fools Day articles. My favorite part of today's homepage is this section:
April 1st, 2010
* Human Being Runs 19.19
* Marion Jones Signs WNBA Contract
* Dathan Ritzenhein Has Better Year Than Ryan Hall, Running 12:56 and Winning World Medal
* Cornell Basketball Makes Sweet 16, Defending Champ UNC Doesn't Make Tournament
* Jenny Barringer Gets 5th in the World, Has NCAA XC Meltdown, Signs With New Balance, Leaves Wetmore For Henner
* American Male Wins NYC Marathon
* Dwain Chambers Wins IAAF World 60m Title
Prior to those things happening, most of us would never believe they were true. Great job brojos.
I love the April Fools pages.
I was reading the AlSal headline about Obama ripping the Oregon Project and then realized it. Good one. They didn't 'get me' this year, but they've gotten me in the past.
Well done Bros
Good luck employee #1 with your jab hunting
Lame again this year.

Nah, been here for a few years...
Then again, I believed it last year when the QOD was that they were winding up the website on account of the financial collapse... I'm just gullible!
I thought the third paragraph of the Russian article was very odd when it said "343 positives in 3 years is only rivaled by the NFL and MLB" but I still didn't make the connection to April Fools. I figured it out when I read the headline of the Obama against Nike article.

Then you must be an imbecile because the Brojos have been doing this for quite some time. This year didn't really appeal to me. I like this really ridiculous ones, like the one about Bobby Knight becoming head of USATF track and field or the one about Bruce Hyde running a 3:55 indoor mile in his first race in three years.
...but forgot it was April 1st, and got almost all of the way through the Obama article before I realized it was a hoax. Great stuff.
As soon as saw the whole "Obama supports offshore drilling" thing the jig was up. Pretty good one though!
To anyone who complains that the articles are "lame," loosen up and appreciate the effort and creativity involved.
I certainly do. Nice work.
You're asking people who are used to the brilliance of Monet, Picasso, Rembrandt, etc. to "loosen up and appreciate the effort and creativity involved" in kindergarten level finger-painting or painting-by-numbers. It's really weak sauce, every single time.

Got me through a couple headlines this year. Funny, guys.

I also thought that this was truly great. It's really an awesome way to celebrate the year.

There's a home page? I never knew. I only check the forums.
I'm suing.
i thought mojo the third brojo was hilarious
What got me is that they posted their April 1 homepage before midnight even on the east coast.
Kinda obvious since most of those aren't relevant news today.
