3000m
I was wondering why this wasn't on the front page, and then I noticed he only tied the world record. Has this ever happened before? I think his time should be considered superior to Shaheen's though, considering he did it as an amateur. I can't wait to see what he can do in Europe this summer... this kid really came out of nowhere and shocked the world! Solinsky who???
4:05 last 1600. 2:27 final K! Sick
This was no world record....it was the 3000m, not 3000m steeple. If that was the case, I'm sure it would have been on the front page.
one thing i fvcking hate about runnerspace. you guys put those links on here, probably just by cutting a pasting while you were watching the vid of the men's 3000. yet every single time you click on one of those links a different race comes up and you have to search for the mens 3000. its like that every time someone attempts to post a link to a race on there. it never works right. once again flotrack ftmfw.
Maybe a meet record but I was in two separate Preview 3K's that went 8:01 ('94) and 8:00 ('96) so it wasn't by 20 seconds...
Well it was a fast time regardless!!!! And great performance!
A great performance matched only by Puskedra's 4:01 in the 1500. Wow!
Dobson was rabbit through 2k. The guy who was 2nd has run 13:24 for 5k. With such a fast last kilometer, impressive runs by both!

3:24:00- Men's 3k.
Straight link to video of the meet.
I timed 4:05 last 1600. Quite an opener for Thompson and McNamara.
