Actually, there have been so many big meets in Eugene that most people by now know how to go to GoDucks.com and click 3 times and get the live results page.

???
Thats all good, but I'm wondering how that kind of injury can be prevented from happening again. Its not like he fractured the foot from some 15 ft fall out of a window or something. It sounds like it was just from doing his training. I hope he is not a second rate Bill McChesney.
He did run the last 400 in 54.0 on a windy day...does that impress you enough? :)
Anyone notice Michael Mcgrath in the 800? Haven't seen him in a race in over a year. Did he get a bad injury or temporarily quit or something?
Wow, I know it's only march but I wouldn't expect an olympic 800 runner (Christian Smith) get out kicked in a kickers race.

I was there and watched it happen. Centro made Christian Smith look like a little school girl. Well, a Russian school girl anyway.

Next thing you know Wheating will be outkicked by some freshman in March! Figure the odds.

it was a mile. centro to break webb's AR
53.6 last 400 for Centro; Smith was slow to begin his kick.
Umm..actually, Smith was just slow. Look at the video. Slow to begin his kick implies that he would have had a chance had he timed his kick differently. He was flat out and way back. Centro was under control and in a race by himself. Centro represents the future of US miling (along with a few other folks). Don't insult him by suggesting he didn't own that field.

lol, good point. and after watching the video I guess it wasn't really even a kick between smith and centro cause smith was too far back to be considered to be in a kick with him.
Ryan,
You know better than to make a comment like this, on this board. Usually you are a class act -- but that was a dbag comment.
There is no way any McChesney, let alone the late Billy McChesney would want their name used in such a way.
Each athlete is an individual, with so many individual factors contributing to their success or struggles.
I don't get why people keep saying it was a mile
