Most under-rated runner in the NCAA.
Most under-rated runner in the NCAA.
Dodges Koll in the 5k so she can get her fresh in the 3k. Under-rated maybe, but she should have doubled.
Definitely... the NCAA victory was huge. Very underrated runner, great race by her.
she did her job! 3 time NCAA CHAMP!
What a racer she is. Way to go angela.
You'll notice pretty much every winner was someone who only ran 1 race, or won their first race of many.
What a perfectly executed race... great runner.
Wow. She was downright pedestrian earlier this season. What a clutch peaker.
I'd say that so much has been written about how under-rated she is that she's not under-rated anymore.
Only got to see the mens and womens DMR and 3,000's. But I love watch the women because they race!!
Congrats to her, hard, smartly run race.
I just wish the TV people would interview more than just the winners...
Is there a video of the race??
I have been watching her winning championships since she was a freshman in high school!!
Looks like it was another Bizzarri day at nats!!!

Yeah, she leached off of a front runner and managed to squeeze by her in the final 100 meters. Isn't that brilliant! She and her coach must have pondered for days on that winning formula.
If only there had been a headwind, she could have even been more brilliant, allowing the leader to block the wind for her.
I'm not knocking what she did, she did what was best to increase her chance to win. Knoll couldn't or didn't "break" her before the end and was, no doubt, operating with fatigue effects from her 5k win the night before. It takes a lot more savy to win from the front.

It takes a lot more savvy to win from second than to lose from the front.
I hope Nike and Alberto Salazar are taking note of Angela and getting a pro contract ready. Her winning time was only six seconds behind the winning time at the IAFF indoor world championships. That Iowa State gal was very impressive as well. Should be a heck of a contest in the outdoor NCAA 5000.
She's a kicker and ran a 13 second personal best while winning another NCAA title. Sounds like she and her coach came up with a good strategy. I'm sure she's focusing more on defending her 5000 title in outdoors anyway, why double at indoors?

I hope you are wrong. Stay away from the house of cards that we currently know as Nike. These two young ladies need to head to Mammoth or stay where they are at but do NOT head to drugs are us.

Are you really that stupid?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
