Boycott Starbucks NO GUNS
Boycott Starbucks NO GUNS
Boycott America then pansy.
Boycott Starbucks because it's owned by Big Tobacco.
Boycott Starbucks because America is too caffeinated already and because neither George Washington nor George Washington Carver ever needed a latte.
Where I live, no one has a gun anyway, so they probably won't be packing when they go to Starbucks. I don't even drink coffee but there are no real bakeries anymore so I go in there for apple fritters and such.
Starbucks has no authority to say that I can't carry when I have a legal concealed carry permit. Eat it.
They aren't saying you can't carry it, they're saying don't come into their establishment if you're carrying a gun.
They can choose to serve or not serve anyone for any reason, and choosing not to serve a person who poses a threat to their customers and employees is valid.
I commend them, and may stop by for a second Chai Tea Latte tomorrow just to show my appreciation.
This is DISCRIMINATION. They should be ashamed of themselves calling gun carriers dangerous how prejudiced.
You can call yor local Starbucks and ask if the allow GUNS. If they do tell them you are boycotting. It's your right to buy coffee in a safe shop.
Any private establishment can ban your gun (you short dick pussy who needs a gun to act like a big man). It's their right. Starbucks will have to cave in and ban guns or else they will go bankrupt.

What? Have you even read whats going on? You CAN carry into starbucks, both open and concealed if allowed to by local regulations. Enjoy drinking your latte while in the company of law abiding Americans who choose to exercise their right to bear arms.
By tomorrow Friday afternoon the only customers left in Starbuck's will be gun toting Chickenhawk Cowards becuase the rest of America doesn't want any part of the fake macho gun crowd.
heres why we should
SELL SBUX
They won't be around for long. Seattle's Best doesn't allow guns and will be assuming SBUX assets April 1, 2010.

I doubt that. People choose to carry bc they have to come to the realization that the good guys in blue aren't always right around the corner ready to swoop in and make things all better. There are some sick f*cks out there. I'm not ready to lose my life or the life of a family member to some grizzled transient or sex offender...take what happened out in Cali to that poor girl for example. I know that probably wasn't a situation that could be rectified with a firearm, but you have to know that there is trouble out there around the corner.

You do realize the OP is proposing the boycott because Starbuck refuses to ban guns in its restaurants, don't you?
http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_14343847Jeesh. A bit quick to jump to conclusions aren't we?
It seems I may have misinterpreted the intent of the OP's post (apologies), however, based on what I've read, Starbucks isn't advocating concealed weapons, they've been used/manipulated by NRA zealots who have forced the corporation to participate in this media spectacle by holding concealed carry events in Starbucks stores in jurisdictions where it is legal to conceal weapons.
Reports made it sound like Starbucks employees were afraid to speak out about safety concerns, particularly when surrounded by gun toting posses trying to make a statement using the visibility of the Starbuck brand.
Sounded to me as if Starbucks CEOs were fed up with the bullying and were making serious efforts to disassociate with gun enthusiasts in most recent reports.
Any establishment can be boycotted by consumers. It's our right. Given Starbuck's is not a safe place to drink coffee and read the iPad, Boycott Starbuck's !
Starbucks will be placing armed guards in Silicon Valley stores starting on Monday and any patron carrying a weapon will be barred from their establishment. Startbucks is preparing a lawsuit against the NRA to recover costs.

Yeah I gotcha. I understand SB not wanting to associate itself with the zealot OPEN carry crowd. While I have a concealed carry, I would never open carry despite being allowed to in my local jurisdiction. It only adds fuel and fear to the fire of gun vs anti gun, plus its scares the almost everyone around. Personally, I think it makes the carrying person look like an effing Rambo-esque law enforcement wanna-be. Not for me.
