Adizero Ace- Discontinued?

Hey I found this on the adidas website:

Looks to be a new model of the Ace. Is it available yet? Has anyone tried it? Is is similar to its predecessor?

i have a pair of the new ace and i have to say it sucks compared to its predecessor...i ran in the cs and the ace...now i think i'm switching over to the rocket just because the new one sucks so much and you can only get it through shopadidas...

by the way, if you want to get the new ace then just get the mana...same f'in thing except the mana has that weird post (moved forward in the arch)...

also, adidas ranged the adizero pro only for their shopadidas site just like they did w/ the new ace...they're getting greedy...

I've been wearing the CS and the Ace for the past couple of years. Assuming I can't find another pair in my size, what are some alternatives that I could look at?

I have the Rocket and while I don't mind it, it isn't as nice as the Ace.

Nike Streak 3 maybe?

Something in the 7 ounce range with a rubber outsole so it's durable is what I'm looking for.

What sucks about the new Ace? I've considered ordering it and wanted to know how it compares to the previous model.

-less flexible, due in large part to blown rubber forefoot not having any flex grooves worth mentioning

-bulky compared to its predecessor

-changed fit (possibly narrower in forefoot?)

-different midfoot shank

-seemingly higher midsole height

-probably a couple ounces heavier, but i don't have my food scale here to weigh them

really just a different shoe altogether...disappointing

I've also been disappointed by the new Adizero ACE - much heavier and slower. I'm going to need an alternative.

I loved the old ACE, was getting ready to order a new pair and thankfully saw the comments. Now I will scour the internet to see if I find a pair of the old style in my size. Thanks for the info guys!
