Edging up on 159lbs.
Lift every other day
My weight has never fluctuated, even when I've been out of training due to injuries. Had muscle atrophy and probably packed on some fat, but nothing I could visibly see and only a one pound (at most) change in my weight. Generally always weighed around 152 before I began lifting.
Lifting I feel fitter and like I've lost fat. I also can even see a noticeable difference in my body and I feel like I look more lean. At the same time I've also begun to finally pick up my mileage more consistently to around 70-80mpw making me feel even more slim and able to see more muscle definition in my legs than I ever previously had.
With the increased mileage and lifting however, I now have an appetite like I never have previously. I'm hungry 24/7 and want to inhale anything in my path when prior to going over 50mpw I had no appetite at all. I've never ate due to boredom, only when I'm hungry, and I can't even get myself to a point of over-eating because when I'm full or not hungry, I can't get food in me.
I feel like this appetite is what has curbed me to now weigh a few pounds more. I've tried to cut down my food intake but I haven't seen any difference in weight and it also leaves me feeling completely drained on runs and it takes a few days of eating normally again for my body to recover and be able to run normal.
Any thoughts on how I might be able to see some weight loss or am I just going to be in this fight of not getting heavier for the rest of my life?
