Chris Derrick didn't look "sick," he looked like he'd run his heart out after a long season. Yes, he was toast. But the guy ran very close to Galen Rupp's course record, and on a slower course. He's a class act.

I thought the coverage was great. Best I've ever seen of any XC national meet in my lifetime.
You guys are hilarious. Rawson and Johnson have been covering track/x-c for YEARS for many different networks. You think they are going to just fire them because you didn't like the coverage?
How can you call the coverage fine? The only team score they announced was 3k into the race. They have yet to announce any team information other than the winner. They have yet to announce any individual places other than the top 5. This is after the trophies have been handed out!
Kuijken going out with Jenny B
did you all just hear that story about Kuijken's rib poking into her diaphragm?!?! holy crap. much respect.
I'm 100% certain that if the NCAA let the athletes chose the source for the coverage, they would pick Flotrack or Letsrun and the coverage would be a million times better. We have every right to criticize Versus because it could be better and if the NCAA didn't give versus a monopoly on the coverage and block others from providing coverage the sport would be better off. End of Story.
I had him no better than 35th. He looked horrible.

"you know why you run a mile? cause you cant sprint hahahahha"
what a moron. YOU ARE COVERING A DISTANCE EVENT AND YOU ARE BASHING THEM!?!?!?!?!?!
YOU KNOW WHY YOU RUN A MILE? BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SPRINT

I don't mind them, but have the interviewer on the ground be someone who knows what they're talking about so they're not offensive.
Have a contest for "student inteviewers;" have NCAA athletes (XC or track people) apply to be the interviewer on the ground. They choose the person who has good knowledge of the sport and who can speak on camera.
Again, this is not a broadcast for the public, it's for an educated audience. I don't care if the blonde can smile and talk to the camera, I would prefer the interview/information to be more accurate.
My apologies about the Bolden comment; I thought he did all this T&F coverage stuff. And I'm trying not to listen too hard ;)
You know why you run a mile, cus you can't SPRINT!
...Tell that to Seb Coe.

Ugh, I am so ready to drive down to Terre Haute and punch this guy in the face...

No, something is wrong, he didn't look right. I think he is sick too, looked pale. Someone said he barfed all over the place too.
No one said he wasn't a class act, wtf are you talking about?
Fernandez was seen talking to Salazar shortly after finishing 30th. What does his mean?
looks like Schaaf is holding back a little more than usual. Metcalfe said she held back at regionals then let it go for the win, rather than getting out insanely fast and dying like at pac10s. let's see if it pays off.
Schaaf looking good in 3rd. The pack is stalking though...
was that blood or kosinski who fell and got trampled early on (looked like oregon and wasn't hasay)?
neither of them seems to be up front with hasay
