The course is pretty solid. One really steep hill, around 200 meters long if i remember. The downhill is a really steep decline. The hill is a little after the 1st mile, close to the mile and a half. The rest of the course is pretty flat, a couple "humps" after the 2 mile. Ground is pretty tough, some rocks. Overall pretty fast course. Hope that helps.
yeah, it does a lot, thankss.
and is the start and finsih long? or short?
bumpp
Start is in a relatively narrow field, and after 400m it narrows further to the size of a nice cart path.
It's totally straight for 1000m, at which point you make a pretty sharp right turn.
The lone hill happens at about the 1.25 mark. I don't think it's more than 100m long, although I've never measured it. It's only steep for about 20 feet, at which point it's nothing much at all. It is quite steep on the way down the other side. The lake is on your left, which makes it feel kind of dicey.
You pass the start line again at about the 2.9K mark and then head out onto a 1 mile long loop, which is basically dead flat. This part is primarily dirt.
Everybody argues about whether it's short, and to tell you the truth, I don't know for sure. I'd just say that the mile splits are regular and seem accurate, and the course runs really fast.
Hope it doesn't rain a lot next week so that you don't have to smell the poo from the sewer. Or worse, so you don't have to step through it...
Here is a pretty good video description:

thanks for the descriptions guys, so the downhill's directly after the uphill?
Start is in a field 120m wide and it narrows whenever you want to get on the crushed granite wide path, usually 200m - 500m.
It's totally straight for 1000m, at which point you make a smooth right turn.
The hill happens at about the 1.25 mark. It's about 250m long, I've never measured it. It's plenty steep. It is quite steep on the way down the other side. The lake is on your left, which makes it feel kind of dicey.
You pass the start line again at about the 2.9K mark and then head out onto a 1 mile long loop, which is mostly flat with a few rises. This part is primarily dirt.
Everybody argues about whether it's short, but its not, I've measured it and there are markers every 200m throughout.
