I'm getting back up to speed after a long break to deal with some nagging stress fracture problems, and I am 10-15 pounds above my normal training weight. I'm already too damn tall to be any good and this sport, an the extra weight seems to have put me over some sort of foot-and-shin threshold of doom. After every run I come back with some new thing screwed up, and I'm pretty sure it's because I'm dragging around too much excess baggage right now. Any suggestions for supplemental work that will help me get back to training weight more quickly?
