257 game... what is my 5k?
257 game... what is my 5k?
257 x 10 = 2570
So clearly 25 min 70 sec or 26:10.
Are you too stupid to do the math yourself?
257/5000= .0514x100%= 514 per mile. so a 16:12 :)
How long did it take you to bowl the 257 game? that will give you your best indicator.
For example of it took you 25 minutes to bowl your 257 game then...
257/10 frames = 25.7points per frame X (14minutes per game)
= 3458/10 pointminutes/framegame
1 pointminute = 1 mile
1 framegame = 24 hours
therefore
3458 miles / 240 hours or 14.408 miles/hour
14.408 mph = 4:09.86 min/miles
so your 5k is 12:56.28
so you should just miss the world record. Good luck

257 out of 300 perfect score. You are in the 85.7 percentile for 5k. So, 14.3% of the runners in any race will finish ahead of you, male and female.
what about the beer mile record? I assume beer was consumed while bowling that well. Forget the 5K, go for the beer mile record.
16:49
Your good at bowling, therefore your are overweight, lazy, and unemployed.
45 minutes walking.
Nice game, when did the pressure of bowling a 300 get to your? 7th or 8th frame?
Wow! Good game. Um...about 16:12.38 would be my guess. I have the math but much too complicated for Letsrun.
We need your splits. (Sorry I couldn't resist.)
I am looking at the standard bowling/5k conversion table and see that the 257 projects a 16:42 5k (of course that is based upon the assumption that the 5k is not competed in the bowling shoes and the vice versa for the 2570. Now let me see if I can explain the mathmatical basis for this fundamental relation.
257/21=12.238 -> where 21 represents the maximum number of balls rolled during a standard bowling match, it is important to note that not all balls were rolled due to the high score achieved.
60' (18.288m)=standard length of the bowling alley
16 lb (7.3kg)= weight of the bowling ball
.742 = mass of the ball
18.288*12.238/.742*3.322 = projected 5k time where 3.322 is the universal bowling-5k constant also known as the common variable big B
