During the 80's why didn't NIKE go after Henry Rono, like they did Salazar?

Why are you so ignorant? Rono was a Nike athlete. In fact he was the highest paid track and field athlete in the world. By the early 80s his alcoholism got the better of him.

Salazar was the young All-American, Anti-commie, pro-Jesus, pro-money,and pro-medicinal, the one willing to do whatever it takes. Ivan Drago meets Athletes in Action meets Dr. Strangelove. Alberto was the perfect pawn for the cold war and the shoe war and he was well paid to sell his soul.

Rono was a good man who became disillusioned with the pagans and money lenders in the temple of his sport. I can still hear Salazar, wood chip in his eye, blaming the victim and dutifully reciting the party line.
