Is there anyone out there that has completed it and/or would like to give some advice on how to NOT throw up?

Gallon of what?
STFU Jeff, you can eat 20 bananas in an hour too right?
I've tried it a few times and never made it. I am under the impression that part of the reason it is so hard is because the milk is not digested fast enough so maybe if you acquired some over the counter medication used to help digest dairy products it could aid you. I know they make that stuff for those who are lactose intolerant. I wish I had thought of this when I had tried the gallon challenge. It could be the EPO of competitive milk drinking.
Use cool, not cold, milk.

On that same point dress warm as well. I distinctly remember how cold I began to feel (I'm assuming because my body heat went in part to warm the extraordinary mass of milk I was drinking).
I've failed this twice, using two different strategies. One was pace myself, and that just prolonged the pain and end up in disaster.
The other was just go for it and try to hold on. Of course that didn't work either, but I felt like it was closer.
So there you go.
stretch your stomach out by swallowing air. after you burp, you'll be home free.
