If each state could put together a all-star high school 4X800 which state would win????

I dont mean the top school in your state, I'm talking about putting the top 4 800m in your state together and see what state would come out on top. And what kind of time could they run?
In Texas if you put Jonathan Johnson 1:48.21, Jacob Hernandez 1:48.48, Leonel Manzano (though he didn't run as fast he had the best kick I've ever seen) 1:50.48, and Jeremy Stallings at 1:49.20. If they ran their PRs that gives you a 7:16.37. While these four are not necessarily the four fastest 800 guys from TX high school I think they might be the best four to assemble if trying to win a race.
That would be one hell of a time. 7:16!!!!
Wait til you see the best from cali or new york. They have had some great ones over the years.
cal - no contest
Did those TX kids run those times in the same year? If not it doesn't count.
ILLINOIS
1:48.10*, Dave Ayoub, Peoria (H.S.), 1977
1:49.22*, Steve Schellenberger, Arlington Hts. (Forest View), 1976
1:49.35, Aaron Rogers, Chicago (C. Vocational), 1988
1:49.45*, Dave Kaemerer, Dolton (Thornridge), 1968
these guys all running their prs would go 7:16.2
Those times are from different years. My question is this: If they had an all-star 4X800 last year, what state would win?
1:46.45 Michael Granville (Bell Gardens, California)1:47.31 Pete Richardson (Berkeley, California)1:47.9+ Dale Scott (El Cerrito, California)1:48.20 Jeff West (Crenshaw, Los Angeles, California)Not a single one makes the CA team (Ayoub is 1.48.3 using the T&F news site)

Are we talking hs, college or anybody and everybody in the state? Also, are we talking who was born in that state or currently lives (ie some college kid from Texas is going to school in Cali, does it count as Texas, or Cali?)
At any rate, I'm sure Cali would win. Texas may give them a run for it, but their 4th man would be a lot slower than the 4th fastest Cali 800 runner.
Interesting is if you are open to anyone living in the state, Oregon would be up there. Wheating, Simmons, McNamara (sp) and the hs stud Grier? Smith at 1:47, Grier is 1:48, Simmons and Wheating are both sub 1:46, total time of 7:07 at all top form. Although I think Smith moved back to the East Coast to go back to college or something. So you could put McNamara in there at 1:48 for a total time of 7:08. Pretty tough to beat.
Shoot. I didn't see the "high school" clause. Sorry for the last post.
Cali would win. I don't know the times, but pretty sure they'd have the depth in most if not all years.
