So my statistics professor is not smart. This is not an exaggeration at all. He actually knows nothing about statistics. In our last class, he taught us how to calculate a confidence interval from a chi squared distribution. When I went to do the homework that night, I realized he explained how to do it wrong and that he actually got the wrong answer. It wasn't a calculation error--he solved for the wrong variable.
We have a quiz in 20 mins. If something like that comes up on the quiz, do I answer it correctly? or do i solve it the way he taught us--even though that is wrong??
Since he is dumb, im thinking that he will just use some quiz created by the book and will use their answer key. Therefore, im leaning towards solving the problem the correct way. I am 90% sure that I am right and he is wrong.
help me---only 17 mins left now!!
