I lost my job in August and haven't found another. I've done a few freelance jobs but to no avail. I've heard talk about jobs in Afghanistan for U.S. citizens that pay $100k plus. I would be willing to do this but I don't know where to find them. Does anyone know who is offering them?
DoD or any contractor who works with them or DoS would be a good start. What kind of work have you done in the past? I presume you dont have any sort of security clearance either, so that will limit you some. But look into DoD contractors and give them a shot.

Go to Haliburton's site, or whatever the company is called now. They generally have higher level openings like engineering. Work Google pretty hard and you can find the sub contractors that do the food service, airplane loading type stuff that doesn't require higher level education or expertise. Even those guys are making pretty good money.
