Frankly, I only care that the level of D1 competition continues to improve so we can start seeing the sort of international results we should be seeing.
I guess I got no real dog in this fight (the bickering, that is) and see this for what it is: a really good crop of select up-and-coming runners who are going to need to push themselves against each other if any of them are going to break through.
So, I'm sick of the nitpicking, petty criticisms of what's really a great period to be an american distance fan.
