Here's the situation! My girlfriend and I were invited to a trip for vacation by another couple. We went to dinner with a third couple and it was accidentally mentioned, and therefore we felt like we needed to invite them. They are also friends with the couple that invited us to the trip.
After realizing our mistake, we wanted to notify the first couple. After doing so, they were not pleased and mentioned that, although they are friends, they didn't want to go on vacation with them. How do I un-invite the second couple politely and making it not sound like the original couple doesn't like them? Help!
