I'm home sick and figured I'd watch my old favorite, the price is right. Drew Carey has had at least a couple years on that show to get better. God he sucks compared to Bob Barker. Pretty much anyone would, so it's a bit of an unfair comparison. But the show is painful to watch. Carey seems so awkward interacting with people, and so choppy in his delivery. I can't watch past the first big wheel spin.

I wanted John O'Hurley (J. Peterman from 'Seinfeld').
I heard his name thrown in there along with Rosie O'Donnell in the beginning.
Even Rosie would be more watchable than Drew Carey as the host.
Carey just phones it in and take his paycheck.
If he could turn down the speed of his talking down from a 9 to a 5, it would do him a lot of favors.
I completely agree. I caught one of the first Price shows he did and it was obvious he wasn't a good pick. You get the impression he'd rather be somewhere else but he's there because it's a paycheck. Another painful show to watch is Jimmy Fallon's. Man that guy is bad.

What would be great is if they had a trained dog in a tux who would greet contestants with handshake while there was a voiceover explaining the rules as if the dog were talking.
Now that would be a show.
