Brett,
I understand that this is invite only, but why no Ethiopia? I guess if you have both Ethiopia and Kenya means less of a chance for Japan.
Yes, they've been alternating Kenya and Ethiopia since it went to the mixed team format. Not sure before that. You've probably got the right reason for it.
Some good teams there. Not that it's surprising but it looks like Japan is throwing some major talent at the ekiden with their squad. Wow!
Plus, the return of Buster and Baldini will be running the first leg too. Nice one.
On your website it says there will be live english commentary. Is that going to be on the keyhole Fuji TV channel or is that somewhere else?
How can we watch online?
This is not the correct order of runners. The actual order for each leg is here: http://www.inter-chibaekiden.jp/pdf/order.pdf
Here are some links to Keyhole TV:

After you download and open it you have to look for Fuji TV. If you can't read kanji then just use trial and error. It's not the greatest quality but it is better than not watching.
I'll be doing commentary through my twitter feed:
Brett:
Thanks for your update as usual. Japan's got some good runners on their team. Even Chiba team got 2 oe 3 Koide girls. Don't forget; McMillan got 2 runner on the US team also. Should be interesting.

Thank-you Brett.
Italy still needs train more.
thanks for the link
Things have really changed since I was at Chiba in the 90's. Less than half the teams and they now have mixed teams. Do they still have track events?
McMillan has 4 on the US team not 2 as Nobby incorrectly suggested.
