SUCK IT RAMZI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An appeal can still be made?
I thought we were already waiting on the appeal.
Looks like there will be some more "official" decisions.
I thought the appeal was done and he lost.
I wonder when The REAL Gordon Ramzi will show his face around here again?
And his marks on the all-time lists should be removed too, as they should for all convicted cheats, IMO.
So glad he got caught. Hope other offenders have been shaken up enough to stop taking.

I support this. If you cheated, you should have to give back everything the sport of athletics has ever given you-all money, records, titles and fame.

Seeing that cheating snake lick that gold medal makes me sick.

You did this wrong so you MUST have done that wrong too. Frontier justice got it right much of the time too.

Nicolas/Nick Willis, NZ, from bronze to silver: very nice.
besides Willis(and Mehdi Baala),how about Asbel Kipruto Kiprop ?
A name that seems worth mentioning.

So you think he was completely clean when he went from a 3:39 nobody to a double World Champion in less than 2 seasons, and run a 3:29 off a 52.** and 1:49 first 2 laps in '06?
Come on, he cheated and got away with it for several seasons.
It's nothing like the "Frontier justice" you talk of. No lives are at risk. Maybe scrapping cheats names from all time lists will be more of a deterrent to stop them taking in the first place.
Either we want drugs cheats out for good or not. If the IAAF and IOC continue with their soft approach, there will always be a group who will take the chance of making a lot of money and kudos at the risk of a 2 year ban. Think how much Ramzi has acquired in his career. So he loses the gold medal. He's still got that double World titles.
"Come on, he cheated and got away with it for several seasons."
The key phrase here is "got away with it."
It doesn't matter if people think he was clean in the past.
If he passed the tests and doesn't admit to anything the marks stay on the books.
