I've recently developed some IT Band issues while running. I ramped back up to about 40-45 miles a week over a 5 month period from pretty much doing nothing the past 3 years. Things were smooth and I was finally starting to see some of my former, competitive self come back.
So, I've developed pretty horrible pain on the outside of my knee and I've gotten some stretches and strength excersises to do to help this go away, but I have no idea on how long something like this usually takes to heal. Can I keep running while I do the treatments, and can I take anti-inflamitory stuff and keep going...
Any help would be welcomed.
