I'm looking for some good threads on Miler training. I tried using the search function but didn't come up with too much because the words mile and training are in just about every thread on running.

I think both are pretty good. The sub 1:50 thread is obviously a step up from the sub 4 1500m thread - either will be useful depending on the level you're trying to achieve. I think they both demonstrate pretty well-accepted notions about how milers should (and should not) train.
