Does anyone have hotel recommendation at disney world? I am running the marathon there on 1/10/10.

Depends on whether you plan to take the Disney transportation to the start or not. I've stayed offsite and on. Offsite, I stayed in Lk Buena Vista at the Residence Inn which was OK. Onsite, I've stayed at the Swan and also at All Star Music. If you plan on taking the Disney Bus, you need to stay onsite ( at a Disney resort). The drawback to that is that you have to get up really early (3:30 or so) to get to the start area and stand outside for a few hours waiting. I always (regardless of where I stayed) drove myself to the start; you can stay in your vehicle until the last 45 minutes before the start, warm and resting, instead of standing in the cold. When I stayed at the swan, that was because of a lead that I got from someone about a discount; you have to check around on one of those websites for disney discounts like mousesavers to see what you can scrounge up.
I'm sure that you'll get lots of flame posts about running WDW, but its a relatively fast course, without any of the problems with runner traffic if you're running 3 hours or better. It's a quiet, kinda boring course, broken up by a theme park here or there and the overpasses you have to go over. You'll roll your eyes over the oddballs running in stupid costumes, of course, but the fast time that you can run there will make it stomach-able.
thanks you.
