How much should less should you eat when your injured and not running. I don't want to gain any weight. what are some tips for controlling your appetite even though your not burning as many calories?

pathetic as it sounds...I'm serious, any tips for controlling appetite when not running would be great.
Don't eat junk, this will just make you want to eat more and won't help you recover from your injury. You should be following this most of the time anyway but it's especially important when you're injured.
- Lots of low calorie foods like fruits and vegetables...less calorie-dense foods like rice and peanut butter.
- Eat when hungry and don't stop until you're comfortably full (not stuffed).
- Cross train as much as possible, even it you're limited to walking. Anything is better than being completely inactive.
I don't eat junk, but I'm still eating more than i should be. Why am I still hungry if I'm not running?
RMR still high...give it a few days and it will come down.
