To cover some temporary expenses, I need to find a way to stop my federal witholding taxes for 2010. I realize this is probably stupid, but if I don't do this I will be in big trouble. I should be able to work everything out in 2011 and pay back the taxes I owe.
Is there any way to do this?

fill out your W-4 for 2010 to have no taxes withheld.

Calculate what your pay will be before you make a change. You can probably change your W-4 now and get a jump on this. However, your withholding is probably $5000 a year, or less. How is it that you can't figure out a different way to meet your bills?
Also, you are wrong about "thinking" that you will be able to pay those taxes at the end of 2010, you WILL pay them one way or another. If you don't, it will end up costing you much more later.
