My PB's over 800, 1500 and 3000M are; 1:56.25, 4:01.58 and 9:09.43, what could I realistically expect to run for 5K?

You seem to regress a little as the distance goes up, so I'm going to say 15:45-16:00. If I were you, I would just start out at 16 flat pace and pick it up if I could.
last indoor season i ran a 1:56 and a 4:01 outdoor. i ran 15:07 in the 5. but you're 3k is slow compared to mine so somewhere between 15:07-16:00.
Thanks for the info. For some reason I have always felt flat in the 3K, and have typically tried to run somewhere in the 8:45 range, but it has obviosuly never worked out. Think I am going to gear my training more towards the 3K next season. I accept I will never be much better than mediocre, as I am now 26, but a solid 3K and 5K will look good on my resume, when I look back years from now. Looking forward to some solid road 10K's after next year...
