I'm thinking about getting back to running after 2 years off. I'm 21 years old, still in good shape. Haven't gained any weight, and stay somewhat active.
I'm thinking about trying out the 1500m and the 5k. I was a 1:54 800m runner in high school with no real mileage in my training. Maybe 15 miles a week, mostly intervals. Ran 50.08 in the 400 open as well.
I want to start off running maybe 15 minutes a day to get back in a little bit of a rhythm.
Whats next though? Does anyone have any tips or training plans that might help me? I'd also like to be able to race cross country, but I want to focus more on the 1500 and the 5000.
