I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the benefits of a sauna? I know the Finns used to use them all the time back in the 70's but to my understanding that was just part of Finnish culture.
Also I saw an experiment where sitting in a sauna for 3 weeks, 30 minutes each time, helped drop the 5k times of well trained athletes by 1.9%
