I'm currently running 70 mpw and have been doing so for some time. Training for a marathon, with 2 semi-long runs per week and one long run (~20mi) in the weekend. I double about 5 days/week.
I'm wondering if i could jump up to 100mpw directly if i take some walking breaks, ie in first 2 weeks run 400m/walk100m, next 2 weeks run 900m/walk100m, from there on run the whole thing, or if it would be better to just slowly raise the mileage without walking.
