Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Derrick handle Fernandez the last time they raced? Did Derrick not beat the top returning XC runner, the collegiate 10k record holder on the track? Has Derrick not demonstrated remarkably better fitness this year compared to last? Has Fernandez done anything to indicate he's in better fitness than he was last year?
