I can understand why other men would want to pay for something that looks really good, but personally, if I can't do it myself with a clippers, I'm not interested.
$20 at the most.
I've never spent more than 13 dollars on a haircut. I recently wanted to get a 80's styled cut, like dave gahan from depeche mode.
he's the guy in the center of that picture.would that look gay if I got that haircut?

bump
It hurts me to spend $20 bucks but I have the last 2 haircuts. My hair just isn't long enough to justify the money. When I go real short, either I do it myself or my wife does it.

This.
Shell out what you need for a decent pair of clippers, and just take it from there. The missus is used to my #2 or #3 and she's the only one I need to keep happy.
I have students who pay for ridiculous haircuts and when they ask for my opinion, I just say "get a lawyer, sue your hairdresser."
I don't really have a style except for bangs straight down in the front. I tell the person to cut it a half inch to an inch above my eyebrows and then the sides are adjusted to make it look right. I then let it grow until my sideburns get really sloppy and my ears are covered. It's usually three to four months. So I have four haircuts a year.

Ask your mom to cut it for you.

gahan = awesomeness
Which style is best depends on you, your head & face, personal style, etc.
As for how much, I spend forty bucks plus tip (said $35 in a thread last year; I misremembered) and always get an excellent cut, not to mention a shampoo & scalp massage which is more relaxing than an average hand job. Much more than that, I think you've got a vanity issue.
I always cut my own hair with scissors.
A friend wanted me to cut her hair, and now insists that I cut it, with scissors.
I.....oh, never mind..........
Only one person has cut my hair since I was 5 or 6 years old, a family friend, good buddy of my dad's. He charges 15 bucks, I usually tip him an extra buck or two. He does a good job, but if I didn't have family history with him I would just get a buddy to buzz my hair once a month or so.
I'll repost this.

just get gangster desings in it
Under $20. Just go to the cheapest place you can find and have them cut it short all over. Wash it in the shower and comb it. That will look fine for 95% of guys. Life is too short to waste time worrying about your hair, especially if you are a runner.
First question can't be answered - depends on the guy. Second is easier - basically the more you spend the more you should be ashamed of yourself.
a f@cking mullet. the 80's are back b!t#h. i wouldn't spend over $150, but that's cus i'm a high rolla
BOWL CUT BRO. it worked for dumb and dumber i should work for you dude. you'll just be pulling in the b!tches
