I was watching AFV today, and realized that I’m ALWAYS disappointed with the 3 videos that make the finals. I think of all the funny videos during the episode that made me laugh, then wonder why they pick such weak ones to vote on. Can anyone relate to this?
i usually agree- sometimes they have a good one. the honorable mentions are my favorite

cus they're not creative at all, i mean seriously i coul dmake a better video of my cat right now that could win all the money and be funnier than this s@$t.
Besides having disappointing finalists, they do something else that irritates me: When they're showing a 20 second video, instead of showing the whole video, they cut away to show someone in the crowd laughing at the video. They cut away immediately after the crucial part of the video to show some bimbo with her mouth open. SHOW THE WHOLE VIDEO, not people's reaction to the video. Morons.

I'd assume for eligibility purposes, the family of the winning submission needs to be in attendance, and they might well not offer to pay air fare or something.
