Eh, that's tough man. I was in almost identical place and found it very tough to find a solid group. Northeast has a lot of guys like that, but most work full time. Boston/philly.
Well, if you're in the Northeast, i assume New Balance Boston would be a decent fit for you. Greater Boston Track Club is great too (though NB Boston gives you more perks, i think). Other than that, i can't think of anything in the NE. If you go on USATF and look up their development clubs, many clubs have A, B, and sometimes C standards. With those PR's you should definetely be able to meet the higher standards, i would think.
Where do you live? This is a list of he top 15 distance clubs in the country based on last year's finish at Club Cross Country Nationals. All these teams probably have solid coaches and teammates for you to run with. There were probably 5 or 10 teams in addition to these who didn't run who you could throw in the mix, though I'm not going to look those up for you. Good luck.

Call me crazy, but I might even consider the club that beat both teams at USATF-NE XC.
NB Boston, GBTC, BAA (in that order)
no offense BAA great except ive noticed BAA guys tend to live far away from each other and dont meet as a group the way NB Boston and GBTC do
NB boston great, has some tough standards just to run
you cant go wrong whatever u choose
Just quit running and start working. How many times are we going to go through this. I feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes on this board.
Thanks for the info on the teams. I currently live in DC though I might start working full time in a small town near Philly. If I can find a good setup I'm willing to relocate, although I think I would like to make Philly work, especially if I try to work while running. Do these groups allow people to work while they're training, or do they expect it to be a full-time commitment?
Wisconsin Track Club is pretty legit, too. At least in the collegiate level.
Yah you should join the BAA so you can train with their top guy, Lucas Meyer.
Philly Track Club has a bunch of good guys...
Central Park TC and Manhattan also great
even CT has a NB elite group i think
thanks for the help. hopefully i can find something that works out for me...
no offense but you're a shitty noticer of things. i run for the BAA and i can assure you that we have a very solid group of guys that meet up on a regular basis. Beyond Wednesday night workouts every week at Harvard during spring, summer and fall and reggie during the winter, there is a solid group of guys that regularly get together on sat/sun for tempos and long runs. On top of that there are enough of us within boston/cambridge that we run together at lunch and before after work at least another 2 days a week.
If you're staying in DC, Matt Centrowitz coaches the Pacers team.
8 of BAA's top 10 from USATF-NE XC live in the greater Boston area. I also think 10 of the top 12. Mentioning 12, 12 BAA athletes beat NB Boston's 7th man (~34:00).
What are the tough standards?

Perhaps you should start posting on LetsWork.com. Your viewpoint might be more appreciated there.
Yeah if you're thinking of philly I suggest checking out the philly track club (http://www.phillytc.com/)
