I'm looking for some advice on dealing with a hamstring strain. I strained it a few weeks ago, and it's just getting worse. I reduced my weekly mileage, but I have a feeling I should just stop running altogether for a few weeks. What can I do to cross train without prolonging the injury? Would you guys recommend physical therapy or should I just strengthen/stretch on my own? I'm not opposed to P/T, but it's just hard to get the time off from work for the referral dotor visit and subsequent appointments so I just want to make sure it's worth it. Any experiences/advice is appreciated.
