Early December is most often more popular than late, but if you are in the Northeast I'm pretty sure BU puts on a mini meet series suring late December/early January. The competition can range from lackluster to very competitive. Its really hit or miss. You need to provide some info on where you are from and what events/times you are seeking. |

4:40ish mile. I saw the BU meet results from last year but BU has not published their 2009/2010 schedule yet. Boston would be a good option. NY would be better. |

usatfne.org says there are mini-meets for three Saturdays in a row at BU - Dec 19, 26, Jan 2. The Armory website says there is an open meet there on Jan 27. That's all I know of so far. |

thanks, that helps a lot. The USATF-NE site must have just been updated. |

There's usually a meet @ the Reggie Lewis center in early january (2nd or 3rd), that's open too. Harvard has a meet in either mid or late December too. The indoor circuit in the boston area is great from December through February for competitive athletes. Last year @ the BU meets you had Nate Jenkins & Ruben Sanca running 4:14/8:08, whereas you also had guys clocking 6:30 for the mile. plenty of different levels. |
