does the mayors cup in boston go on the road at all?

Every winning team member is allowed to have the Mayor's Cup for a day. BAA Security never strays too far. It's a wonderful tradition modeled after the NHL and the fascination with the Stanley Cup. I'll always remember the first sip of champagne out of the Mayor's Cup and can die knowing my name is engraved for posterity.

very short sections where you cross a little bit of road as I recall....you'll be fine wearing a 'true' XC spike...if the weather is nasty in the leadup it can be quite a mudfest in there, so come prepared with different length spikes and decide on the day...
